Prerequisites are some of the software that you would need to install on the machines
at your locations to make the most out of your NV3 Digital Signage Platform. The
software are mostly free and easily available
|
|

Firefox
full screen plug-in - download this plug-in if you are using a Firefox
browser to run your locations. This plug-in allows NV3 to open up the viewer window
without the title bar, thereby maximizing the viewing area for your screen. This
software is free
|
|
• |
Flash Player 9 - this is a free software that is a prerequisite to
run rich multimedia content available from Adobe. This software is free
|
|
• |
JRE (5.0) - this is required
if you are using the NV3 Offline Viewer. This is a free software available from
Sun Microsystems.
|

|
|
|
|
|
• |
Recommended Requirements - NV3 Digital Signage Player is a cost effective
solution |

• |
Minimum Hardware Requirements - the hardware requirements
for the viewer are minimal. All we need is a basic computer that will run your internet
browser well. Still, to be specific, please read on
The following are the hardware requirements for the viewer

A screen of any size or type

A computer with the following minimum hardware

Intel Celeron 1GHz or above and similar processors
|

Graphics card with 128 MB on card video memory |
|

512 MB of RAM or more |

20 GB of free hard drive space |

Connection to the internet |

Minimum Software Requirements - the following are
the software that will be required on the viewer machines. You can run your viewer
on two operating systems – Windows and Linux

Publish in full screen for Microsoft
Internet Explorer - Please follow these steps:

1. |
Click "Tools" from tool bar & Select "Internet Options" from Menu. This will open
a pop up windows. |
|
|
|
|
|
2. |
Go to "Security" Tab & click on "Custom Level" button. |
|
|
|
|
|
3. |
Go to "Miscellaneous Section" & "Enable" following options: |
|
|
|
|
|

|
Allow website to open windows without address or status bar (for IE 7.0 only)
|
|
|
•
|
Allow Scripting of Internet web browser control
|
|
|
•
|
Allow Script initiated windows without size or position constraints
|
|
|
|
|

Publish in full screen for Mozilla
(Firefox) - Please install Firefox plugin by clicking
here or from download section at top to Publish in full screen
mode.

Move away cursor from the published
screen - Please drag cursor to right bottom of the screen so that
it wont be visible.
|

Enabling JavaScript in browser
|
- To enable JavaScript in Microsoft Internet Explorer 5 or Later (for Windows)
- Open Internet Explorer
- On the Tools menu, click Internet Options
- On the Security tab, click Internet
- Click Custom Level (Figure 1)
- Scroll down to Active scripting
- Click Enable(or Prompt) (Figure 2)
- Click OK
- Click Yes
- Click OK

- To enable JavaScript in Firefox 2.xx series.
- Open Firefox
- On the Tools menu, click Options
- Click on the Content icon
- Check the box next to Enable JavaScript
- Click OK
